Dialogue[edit]
- I can't believe they've paired me with this charr. I need someone who can cover me in battle, but he[sic] looks like his pelt couldn't cover me in bed.
- You're on patrol to protect your fellow soldiers. Act professional.
- You're right, my first duty is to carry out my assignment. I'll stomach him...for now.
- A wise decision.
- Make your commander proud. Learn to work with this soldier.
- I guess that is what is expected of me. I'll put up with him for the duration of this assignment.
- Good luck to you.
- He knows you're a better soldier? Don't rub it in.
- You're right. I wasn't thinking about how difficult this must be for his little hairy hide.
- Who knows, maybe some of your abilities will rub off on him.
- Get back to your patrol.
- Why couldn't they have paired me with another human? This charr looks like a big useless lump of fur.
- Well, that "big useless lump of fur" is your ally. Treat him like it.
- You sound like my boss. Guess I've got enough trouble with the ogres without having her on my tail, too.
- Right. Stay focused.
- That "useless lump of fur" may be all that stands between you and the ogres.
- I guess when the ogres come, it might be good to have someone big and hairy to look them in the eye.
- It couldn't hurt.
- Small and crafty can be an advantage, but you could teach him a few moves.
- I could be the brains and he could be the brawn. Yeah, that could work.
- You two might make a good team after all.
- Good luck when the ogres attack.
- Can you believe I'm stuck on duty with this charr? They're all bluster, but I just know that the first sign of trouble, she'll turn her tail and run.
- You're both soldiers. Start acting like it.
- Ah, last thing I need is to be fighting with two enemies at once. But if we get attacked and she so much glances back over her shoulder, I'll pin her tail to the ground with my dagger.
- Now you're acting like a soldier.
- Be the better soldier. Stand down and work together.
- Ah, why do the charr get to act like such animals while the humans always have to be the logical ones? Maybe I'll give her one more chance.
- That's the spirit.
- I'll bet she's afraid you'll show her up.
- Ah, I'm tired of having to tutor these charr in the art of war. But if it makes her a better fighter, than[sic] I guess it works out for me too.
- Absolutely. Everybody wins.
- Good luck then.
- It's bad enough I'm out here watching for ogres without having a charr for a partner. I'd almost rather be watching for charr with an ogre by my side.
- You're a soldier. She's a soldier. Act like soldiers.
- You're right. My duty is to the Vanguard.
- So, return to your post...soldier.
- A true warrior overcomes adversity on both sides of the line.
- I'll try...for the sake of the Vanguard.
- Remember who the real enemy is.
- She's probably intimidated because she's never worked with a human before.
- You're right. Poor thing, I didn't think about that.
- If you teach her what you know, you'll be a stronger team.
- Just remember the enemy is out there, not here.
- After selecting a personality option
- It's not easy serving side by side with these fleabags, but those are my orders. And a good soldier follows orders.
- You're a benefit to your unit.
- I feel like fighting against the ogres alongside a charr means I'll have to watch my back twice. But I guess it'll keep me on my toes.
- There's the silver lining.
- It's going to be hard to stomach working with a charr, but I'll do what's best for the Vanguard.
- Hang in there.
