Gnashbash Heist is an adventure in Lion's Arch during the Evon Gnashblade's "Birthday" Celebration where you transform into a skritt and steal "shinies" from The Vaults. Speak to the Lock Bite Gang Thief inside to begin the adventure.

Mechanics

• Up to 121 shinies can be collected.
• Lionguards are  Patrolling the vaults with orange detection circles around them. Getting caught will knock you back and cause you to lose 1 shiny. Use   Skritt Stealth to pass through them safely.
• Traps are scattered around the floor, applying  Crippled and further reducing speed by putting you in combat.
  • Bear traps also inflict a moment of  Immobile.
  • Tripwires additionally cause  Knockdown, which can be cancelled by using   Skritt Shadowstep.
  • Traps will re-arm 10 seconds after being triggered.
• Two pairs of Skritt Holes can be used to quickly navigate the area.
  • The first pair links between the Skritt Hole in the same room as the start of the heist (8th room), and a hole halfway through the vaults, in the 5th room with the Hologram Outfits doing emotes.
  • The second pair links between the very first vault room and the last (9th and largest).
• At 1 minute remaining, all shinies will show as to assist in finding them.

Bugs:

• Various Lionguards throughout The Vaults will sometimes have a visual bug where their orange detection circles are not shown, and will still knock you back and remove a shiny.
• Shinies, including the special shiny, will sometimes not have nameplates, making them hard to spot.

Tips

• Enable auto-cast on   Rush (with Ctrl+Right-Click).
•  Concentration will increase the  Swiftness gained, allowing you to keep it up indefinitely.
• You can also pre-buff yourself before starting, or receive buffs from other players during the adventure.
•  Stability will prevent the knockdown from tripwires, but you will still be slowed.
• Keep jumping to have a lower chance of accidentally stepping in traps.
• Increasing the full-screen gamma (under Graphics Options) will help to make the traps more visible.

  • The "Shiny?" is found behind the front desk by the entrance to The Vaults, where Captain Evon Gnashblade stands when not on his walk, between the Black Lion Trader and Black Lion Agent.
  • Use   Skritt Stealth to get past the stationary Lionguard.
  • It does not count towards the 121 total shinies.

Notes

Bugs:

• Delivery of bonus chests with adventure rewards is inconsistent and may be very delayed. Daily rewards may also fail to reset, and gaining multiple first-time completion rewards have been reported.
