Gwyl

The gwyl are owl-like nature spirits[1] native to Castora, seemingly directly manifested from its forests. They are responsible for maintaining the proper order of magic in the woods, and can be seen tending to natural anomalies such as disruptions in the flow of ley line energy. Gwyl bear a relation to treants.[2]
