If you find this, it means that Arborstone has fallen, and I'm sorry. Ayumi tried to help us, but we'd lost too many to some kind of darkness. Others simply...died. Of what, only the Mists can say. Barely a handful of us remain. We will barricade ourselves in the inner sanctum and hide as long as we can. I hope we see each other again. If not, know that the Kestrels live on so long as Echovald remains independent, and that I will be at peace in the Sky Above Sky. Please lay me to rest in Mori Village, next to my grandfather.
