- Kill Dust Mites, Branded Earth Elementals, Sand Eels, Choya or Veteran Choya — 2% heart progress
- Bring Forgotten Glyphs to Follower Xunn — 5% heart progress per Glyph delivered to Follower Xunn
- Inspect Forgotten Pillars and defeat the Veteran Escaping Djinn — 5% heart progress per kill
- Approach Forgotten Reliquaries and then defeat any Sand Sharks that spawn
- Kill Sand Shark — 6% heart progress
- Kill Sand Shark Pup — 3% heart progress
- Kill Young Sand Shark — 2% heart progress
