You might want to create a user skill infobox instead of using {{skill infobox}}--Relyk ~ talk < 00:43, 16 November 2015 (UTC)
- I wouldn't even include an infobox in the template examples, since they take up a lot of space and draw attention away from the smaller templates. —Dr Ishmael

- I was debating that as well. On the one hand I do want to include a bigger example with named parameters, and I do kind of like that it draws your attention when scrolling through the page so that people will notice that it isn't that complicated to add something like this to a page; on the other hand, you're right that it detracts from the previous examples. I tried putting it into an expandable table, but that wasn't worth it, and I tried simply linking to the existing skill page for an example, but I wanted to simplify the variables parameter for this. Maybe I'll try to separate the named and unnamed parameter sections to give it a bit more space and I'll see then.

Bug and Anomaly[edit]
It would be nice if there would be a short description of the topic "bug and anomaly" here in the article, or a link to one. If I miss something please explain it a bit.

How to make editing easier?[edit]
Hi there, I'm new to the Gw2 Wiki editing experience (and wiki editing in general). Is there a chrome extension or something else that makes it easier to have a WYSIWYG experience? There is a lot of customization ... are there any tips/clues for remember the various codes that can be used for editing? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jurence (talk) at 12:55, 27 October 2024 (UTC).
- the only ones you need to know are
- linking to another wiki page with double square brackets, which will cover 99% of any prose you write.
- that there's a page called GW2W:FORMAT with copy-paste structures for any page

Should a simple style guide be added?[edit]
While editing a page recently, I accidentally made an error which resulted in a page having two "Notes" sections. Do we have somewhere a hierarchy of the sections that usually go to the bottom of an article?
Off the top of my head, there are:
- Related achievements
- Notes
- Trivia
- See also
- External Links
- References
I think, if I ever had an article that had to feature all of the above, I would sort them in the above order - but I am basing that on feel and what I've seen in other articles organically.
Is there even a need to fix this, even in a short style guide? Maybe organically is all we need... --BelleroPhone (talk) 18:42, 10 June 2025 (UTC)
- For layout, we do have some basic guidelines here: Guild Wars 2 Wiki:General formatting. That said, I agree with simplifying them for clarity and to better reflect the intended hierarchy. Also, the
Version historysection should be included in these lists. --Tᴇʀʏ.3065 20:41, 10 June 2025 (UTC)
