Hello, traveler. This is a dangerous area, so remain on your toes. Lot of krait attacks recently. Vicious ones, too.

You wouldn't happen to be an acolyte of Shaman Palak, would you?

I am, yes. Does Palak have you doing errands for him? A curious choice by the shaman...

Indeed, he does. I'm trying to locate the Shards of Zintl for him.

Of course... Well, I wish I had better news for you. The tribe here has unfortunately given their shard away in desperation. The constant krait ambushes have pushed their chieftain to drastic measures.

Let me guess. They gave it to the krait?

And it's worse than it sounds. They gave it to a powerful krait witch who control their fortress to the south in Sipedon Deeps. I can empathize somewhat—they've been suffering... But it still saddens me.

Maybe I can defeat her and snatch it back...

That would certainly solve a few problems. Although, she's an elusive wench...and very strong. Perhaps if you killed enough of the krait in the fortress, you might be able to recover it as well.

Sounds like I have a few routes. I'll see what I can do.
