Icebound Chests are chests found in Bitterfrost Frontier. Few of these chests are part of Thorough Sampling achievement and can be looted anytime. Chests that spawn after successful Beacons of Koda meta event, requires using Koda's Flame, acquired from Brazier of Koda if Koda's Flame mastery is aquired. These chests disappear at night when another meta events starts again.

Notes

• Meta-event chests can be looted once per chest respawn, that is, once per meta event completion (in-game day). There are no daily limit per character or account. A single character can loot each chest multiple times. If you are quick, you can loot all chests several times per meta by switching characters.
• Chests in The Bitter Cold, in The Titan Tree treetops and several other permanent nodes around the map can be looted once per day, per character.

Anomaly:

Treasure Hunter Protocol will show , but there are some that do not have these icons. Chests such are under the ice and inside a buildings that need to be opened. Frozen chests will also gain this icon back, after they were unfrozen and looted.
