Kryptis Blasters are floating turrets deployed by the Kryptis. They fire shots at nearby enemies, and occasionally withdraw into their shells, becoming invulnerable to all attacks. Using a Skyscale's   Dash will force the turret to open up again and become vulnerable to attacks, whether they are ranged attacks from the ground or skyscale fireballs.
