The furflies have been rapidly reproducing in the northwestern forest, past the point of natural equilibrium. To maintain their rate of expansion, they're attacking the wildlife.

Do you know why this is happening to the furflies?

Temporatures[sic] in this area are unseasonably low. I blame the icebrood. To avoid extinction, the furflies are overcompensating and reproducing in greater numbers.
