Landmark

Landmarks are important or notable locations found in the game that are not denoted by Points of Interest markers. They can range from architecture and buildings to settlements to naturally formed terrain. Landmarks can be identified in a few ways. Many landmarks are marked with a waypoint named after the location while others are only named in NPC dialogue, static objects, or other sources.
