Mote of Darkness is a type of cosmetic infusion that can be obtained as a rare reward from Silent Surf Fractal or purchased from BLING-9009 after completing the Silent Surf Fractal in Challenge Mode.

Notes[edit]
- The infusion only affects the skin and the eyes, and not the hair.
- Few hairstyles from asura and charr function as a hair rather than a skin.
- Few sylvari hairstyles function as a hair, which will make the Mote of Darkness act as a full-body infusion, similar to Heart of Khan-Ur or Snow Diamond.
- Mote of Darkness is one of the strongest cosmetic infusion (affecting the skin and the eyes), as it can override most of the other infusion.
