Onestra

Onestra was a seer and companion of Lenusso. They wrote numerous letters addressed to Lenusso and drew many illustrations about the island of Castora which had held great significance to the seers. Zinn, who had found the journal, suspected that the two seers had had to remain apart to avoid detection from the mursaat, which is why they had utilized more archaic methods of communication. Lenusso's writings and Onestra's illustrations in the journal inspired Zinn to ruminate on the possibilities of an expedition to Castora one day.

Notes

• Onestra's name resembles the Italian feminine onesta deriving from onesto, meaning 'honest, honorable.' Given that the Ancient Seer from Guild Wars Prophecies, who assisted the heroes, was referred to with feminine pronouns and was voiced by a woman, it is possible that Onestra may have been the Ancient Seer.
