Overview map

Rebooting IG-6417 is an A Bug in the System achievement which involves rebooting IG-6417, a broken Inquest golem found on Calon Islet, by downloading software modules from Inquest Consoles around the Rata Primus complex using the Inquest Passcode. Only one module can be handed in to IG-6417 per day, requiring at least 7 days to complete. The achievement is only unlocked after completing Repairing IG-6417 and is followed by Redeeming IG-6417.

Achievement[edit]

Collection items[edit]

Notes[edit]

  • Attempting to install Module XD-356 will reveal that it contains malicious programming. You will then be prompted to bring the module to Hero-Tron for reprogramming.
    • Hero-Tron periodically enters a scripted dialogue sequence with Marcello DiGiacomo and Ogden Stonehealer. During this time the interaction prompt is "Greet" to which there is no response. Once the dialogue sequence is over, you will be able to "Talk" to Hero-Tron for the module.
It is possible to bring Module XD-356 directly to Hero-Tron without attempting to install it in IG-6417. However, IG-6417 will not recognize the Revised Module XD-356 until presented with the original module, which can be obtained again from the console.
  • During 2020, the massive server lag spikes that plagued this and other maps could be exploited to progress this achievement more quickly. When interacting with IG-6417 during those server lag spikes, it could accept two modules in a row, saying "Software upgrade in progress..." each time, with a noticeable delay for the window prompt as well as collection credit after the second installation. The second item installed was not be removed from your inventory.
    • The lag spikes have since been fixed and this exploit is no longer possible.
