Use it while mounted to locate a Brandstone impact site. When you're near the site, use the Brandstone scan function to find a small chunk and the surface Brandstone function to reveal it.

What are the possible upgrades for the multitool?

I can upgrade it with an excavation beam, a reconfigure, and an impact site marker for a nominal fee.

Tell me about the excavation beam.

While it's possible to extract Kralkatite from a Brandstone chunk using a mining axe, our excavation beam can carefully pick out the metal while keeping the surrounding rose quartz intact.

You can use it to briefly reconfigure your multitool into a weapon. Comes in handy when facing threats near the impact sites.

What does the impact site marker do?

Placing a marker at the impact site boosts your Kralkatite yield and marks it for others to find. If up to five others also mark the site, everyone's yields will increase.
