Screen borders are graphics shown around the edge of the game window. They serve as peripheral, flavorful indicators reducing the need to pay attention to the effect bar.

Character state[edit]
- Low health — Increasing intensities of red, with a pulsing effect when damage is taken.
Necromancer's shrouds — Green- Fool's Dog Treat — Gray paws

- Shackles of the All Seer — Yellow
- Something Feels Funny... (and You've been turned into a bunny!) — Purple

Ability telegraphs[edit]
Some important boss abilities requiring re-positioning include a border to get the attention of the player.
- Orange animated flames:
- Vale Guardian (Spirit Vale) — While standing in Unstable Magic Spike
- Multiple bosses — Target Order: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
- Yellow:
- Ankka (Xunlai Jade Junkyard) — Death's Hand
- Harvest Temple — Void Pools
- Blue lightning:
Notes[edit]
- There is no setting to disable the graphics.
- Professions with abilities applying their own screen borders may have difficulties noticing some mechanics.
