- The centaurs think they can break us, but we're not breakable. Humans have been through all sorts of hardships, but we survive. We've dug in our heels here and don't aim to let it go.
That's quite a philosophy. I'm in awe of your determination.
- Thanks. War will affect you one of two ways. It'll wear you down, or it'll make you stronger. I refuse to let it wear me down. Every blow they deal just makes me stronger.

- Glad you agree with me! You must be quite the soldier, yourself, to recognize the need for enthusiasm. If you let the war get to you, it'll just bring you down.

- You'd better believe it. I've been fighting centaurs for years. I'm not afraid of them anymore. Every one of my comrades they murder just adds fuel to the fire. They'll regret it.
- Don't they have you pretty much surrounded here, though?
- Sure, they do. Does that worry me? No. This here is the headquarters for the Seraph. They don't know what they're messing with.
- They sure don't.
- I'm sure they will.
