To-do

• Indicate what minute (incl. timezone) the mails were initially sent out (i.e. when the in-game event was activated)
• Possibly indicate light flash when touched and shadow magic effect when cats appear/disappear
• Possibly merge notes and trivia

Notes and trivia are fine separated, imo. My rule of thumb is that notes are for relevant gameplay concerns, whereas trivia is for info that's interesting but doesn't matter if you're aware of it or not. —Idris 09:38, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

What happens when the enhancement expires?

• What happens if you're looking at a giant cat (or the normal cats) when the enhancement expires? Solved, doesn't necessarily have to be in the article.
• Do the cats still appear if the enhancement is still active when the event is over? The effect does say "Expires at the End of April Fools [sic]", so who knows?
• Can you hear the loud spooky cat noises (unclear if source is the gigantic cat or normal cats) before you consume the elixir? I'm guessing no, but I didn't actually test. — Cronos 09:58, 1 April 2020 (UTC)

Cats are not just in Capital Cities

There's at least one cat outside of the 6 major cities. Inside Gendarran Fields, if you look back towards Lion's Arch, there's a different cat looking over the wall. Kinda reminds me of Attack on Titan, but that's very likely not an intended reference. Have we found any other locations with cats? Surely there's not one in every map?

Expiration and 2020 mail

What happened to the "expired" elixirs at the end of April Fools' events (prior to 2024)? Were they deleted?

Does anyone have a record of what happened to the 9 elixirs in the 2020 mail if they were not taken into inventory? 24.23.247.110 18:32, 4 April 2025 (UTC)

Items are generally not deleted unless they are the result of an exploit, so if you haven't claimed the elixirs they should be still in your mail. And no they haven't expired either back then, they were simply unusable outside the April Fools' window -- a red warning would show up in chat when trying to use them. ~Sime 18:52, 4 April 2025 (UTC)

True Sight

Now that True Sight Armor exists we should add a note to send people to the True Sight Armor when they search the wiki for True Sight. Currently when you "/wiki True Sight" this is the page the comes up.
