Difference in the two IDs

I was able to obtain the #107728 staff after transmuting a Heroic Dragonsblood Staff. The one difference I can see is that the higher number staff can't be salvaged with a research kit. SarielV 08:21, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

With the February 24th update, they removed an option to salvage stat-swapped ascended equipment for research notes, which means that devs had to copy-paste existing ascended equipment and change one parameter, resulting in making "a new item with a new ID". Since then, I slowly started to add a secondary ID for affected equipment/pages to reflect that addition and the change. But now it seems Dak393 got an idea to use "variants" template instead of adding a secondary ID into the infobox, which I didn't even think of or remember that it is a thing, as from what I have encountered, it is mainly used for low lvl gear pages. ฅ𓂃𓏧♡ vyѕɴɑιтε ᨐᵉᵒʷฅ (тɑʟκ) 15:27, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
