Typo in categories

I see in the categories for the page "Homestead instructionss" with an extraneous s. Could someone correct it, I don't know how to do it myself. Thanks in advance. Kristak (talk) 08:55, 24 October 2024 (UTC)

Image preview

Can we talk about the image preview function for Deft Lahar? When you put the mouse over that link, the SAB picture shows up. A better way to display that would be his actual picture, NOT the SAB which is only active 2 out of 54 weeks a year. The way the wiki seems to favor images is the last one on the wiki page. So, if we want to display his SAB picture, it shouldn't cause a normal 'mouse preview' to show the SAB image. Drunken Bulldog (talk)

I believe I've fixed it. You may need to clear your cache, and the wiki may also need like 24 hours to clear it's cache so, it might not fix itself right away. Please let us know if after a couple of days if it's still showing the SAB bear! - Do_odleplex 21:23, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

Image preview is based on the logic here: Guild Wars 2 Wiki:Popups#Useful notes.

Its more to do with the dimensions of the image. If you divide the height by the width for the current main image, you get a ratio of about 0.56. 0.56 is outside the preferred 0.6 ratio.

The other solutions would be: (1) redo the main image and make it wider. (2) crop the SAB image tighter (less favourable). (3) put the SAB image on the blacklist.

(and yes moving the SAB image out of the infobox has also moved it beyond the first four images. I'm wondering if we should have some css hidden images to trick the parser. -Chieftain Alex 22:58, 12 July 2025 (UTC)

Is it possible to lower the preferred ratio to 0.5625, which corresponds to 9:16-the common aspect ratio used by most tools? --Tᴇʀʏ.3065 00:48, 13 July 2025 (UTC)

Whilst its a mediawiki configurable value, per mw:Extension:PageImages#How are images scored?, the existing skinny image still meets the "allowed" ratio of 0.4 to 3.1.

However, I've just found another little option: |class=notpageimage, but I don't know what version of MW this patch applies to yet. -Chieftain Alex 08:19, 13 July 2025 (UTC)
