Research[edit]
I wanted to write down my findings with my upgrades. In every round I easily managed to serve all customers so far, so I don’t think I missed any sale (if that’s even a thing).
- Started off with the standard setup of 3 chairs: Got 23 cats. Profit: 23.
- Added 3 more chairs, and upgraded to Advertising 1: Got 30 cats. Profit: 30.
So +7 cats from Advertising 1, the additional seats didn’t do anything. - Upgraded to Premium Food 1 and Tips 1: Got 29 cats, 4 tips (~14%). Profit: 29x2+4 = 62.
Premium Food 1 increased the price to 2 coins per food. - Upgraded to Premium Food 2 and Advertising 2: Got 39 cats, 15 tips (~38%). Profit: 39x3+15 = 132.
Premium Food 2 increased to price to 3 coins per food, Advertising 2 pushed the customer number further. The tip amount was very high this time despite not upgrading it, so I guess the previous round was just very unlucky. - Upgraded to Advertising 3 and Tips 2: Got 67 cats, 31 tips (~46%). Profit: 67x3+31 = 232.
Maxing out Advertising 3 to get more cats, and second tip upgrade for more extra tips. - Upgraded to Tips 3, Waiter 1 and 2, Business Hours 1 and 2, and the remaining 4 chairs: Got 86 cats, 44 tips (~51%).
Attempting to push every update while avoiding food and souvenir unlocks for now to keep the complexity low. Longer business hours further extended the number of cats in a linear fashion (~33% more time = ~33% more customers). Two waiters are not necessary with just food and a good chair layout though. - Added drinks and upgraded to Premium Drinks 1 and Complimentary Treats 1: Got 35 food sales, 55 drink sales, 45 tips. Profit: 35x3 + 55x3 + 45 = 315.
Adding drinks and upgrade it directly, so it gives 3 coins per drink (base value seems to be 2 then?). Also Complimentary Treats to avoid enraging if the serving gets slower due to more products. - Added souvenirs and upgraded to Premium Drinks 2, Waiter 3, Premium Souvenirs 1 and 2, Zoomies and the final "Investment in Employees": Got 90 cats, 24 food sales, 28 drink sales, 39 souvenir sales, 51 tips (~57%). Profit: 24x3 + 28x4 + 39x5 + 51 = 430.
Adding souvenirs and all the remaining upgrades. With three different products, serving does get a bit more difficult. I thought the bots would handle everything and got a single enraged customer (in testing mode) so I ended up helping a bit. Most of the business is handled by the bots though.
I will keep this list updates as I continue to upgrade. poke | talk 23:43, 1 April 2025 (UTC)
- Updated to my final fully upgraded system. Everything is unlocked now so from here on it’s just farming for stuff. poke | talk 23:09, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
Upgrades seem to reset annually[edit]
I left the café furniture in my homestead since last April's Fool, but had to re-purchase all café upgrades during 2026's event (but not the decorations). -- kazerniel (talk | contribs) 23:24, 2 April 2026 (UTC)
