Talk:Tattered Page

From Guild Wars 2 Wiki

Can you explain why you have combined all of the pages here and removed the information about how to find each page? By putting them all on one page and removing the instructions, you've made it more difficult for players to find the pages if they are looking for a specific one.

You've flagged the other individual pages for deletion after moving some but not all of the information to this page.

How can we ensure that players can easily find the location of the pages to complete the achievement?

It is under the same object name. And this is how we documented. I already said in your talkpage on how we documented.
"removing the instructions" - As the objects are founds Only during the story, you dont know the object name or book title name until you reach that point. It is making no sense if you separate instruction to the object pages as you can see the instruct there in the story walkthrough.
"you've made it more difficult for players to find the pages" - No, at least not for me. If they're reasonable enough, they will be looking for the story name > object name > then book title name. As I said in your talkpage. You can make a redirect if you want to.
"How can we ensure that players can easily find the location of the pages to complete the achievement?" - Story walkthrough and object sections. And as I said, you can make a redirect if you want to.

Tery is right. Books are created under their object name, which in this case is Tattered Page. This is the case also for other objects or NPCs. The individual pages that have been tagged for deletion can be still used as redirects to the book page, though, and it is probably a good idea to also have a singular overview map with all the book pages that can be used on both this page and the story walkthrough page, as we usually do for these kind of things. ~Sime 18:32, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
