Tarff's Assistant is a Renown Heart NPC found in Cuatl Morass. After players kept the Cuatl Hylek in check, he will offer some items in exchange for karma.

- We're planning our assault on the hylek village, of course.
- Why?
- The Cuatl hylek are constantly sending raids into Arterium Haven. If we can rush the village and cause a little havoc ourselves, they'll be too distracted to keep up their raids.
- What are you waiting for?
- Deputy Tarff is still making his final plans. He's concerned about flame spitters—nasty little turrets that'll roast your skin right off.
- Why are you distracting and not just destroying?
- We'd love to crush this village out of existence, but those toads breed like rabbits! For every one you kill it seems like two more pop up.
- What can I do to help?
- Primary order of business: take out the turrets. Secondary: kill hylek in the village. Tertiary: smash anything you can. It's all about population control.
I'll see what I can do.
- We'll see about that!
- I can take a little fire. I'm off!
