Template talk:Achievement box result format
Proposed change: adjust data-id param to be compatible with Template:Account achievements widget to grey-out if unlocked[edit]
Currently Template:Achievement box and Template:Achievement list do not respond to Template:Account achievements widget. If we added the class widget-account-achievement to the title and description <tr> and adjusted the data-id param from data-id="{{{16|}}}" (which is the achievement id) to data-id="achievement{{{16}}}" instead, it would allow it to be compatible with the formatting logic of Template:Account achievements widget, which would grey out the box if the achievement has been unlocked.
This would be really useful for achievement sections in story or instanced content articles so we could add the widget to allow the user to check which achievements they still need, without having to click through to each achievement or search for it in the achievement's category page or in the game. Since this template is used in many places and the existing data-id has a chance of being referenced by something, I wanted to make the proposal before I made the change. --Tofu (caeldom) (talk) 01:52, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
- I think it's a good idea! --BuffsEverywhere (talk) 09:22, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- Awesome, I'll go ahead and make the changes and hopefully nothing is expecting the data-id attribute to only be the id. If it causes issues somewhere, I'll try and look for a way to adapt. --Tofu (caeldom) (talk) 18:28, 31 October 2025 (UTC)
