The Deep is a cave once trapped by the petrified Jade Sea, south of Gyala Delve's mines. It was the lair of the demon Kanaxai.

Lore discrepancy:

In Guild Wars, The Deep was connected to Cavalon and ran eastward, however in Guild Wars 2, it is southeast of Gyala Hatchery, roughly where The Aurios Mines was located. Both locations deal with Kanaxai's Nightmare Horde.

• Entering the underwater tunnel to the southeast will apply the effect  Piranhas of the Deep.
• The fishing nodes at the Celestial Pool will appear after defeating the Ravenous Wanderer.
