Banners are a warrior skill type that apply buffs to their allies or debuffs to their enemies.[1] Once summoned banners function as an environmental weapon. Anybody can pick them up and it will replace all of their weapon skills with a new set of skills. They can then be replanted to a different location to follow the flow of the battle.[2] Once planted in the ground the banner can be targeted and destroyed which is the only way to remove its effect.
