Portable Composter and Crumble Cakes[edit]
As the article on the composter says: "The Portable Composter is an infinite salvage kit for consumable food and feast items that have been crafted by a chef.". As the cakes cannot be crafted due to lack of recipe(s), I don't think making a note about them not being salvageable is warranted. - J.P.

- While true, I think there is some merit in leaving the note anyways because people do not read item descriptions (as well as salvage inconsistencies already being noted as such on other pages even if it's obvious). --ItVictor (talk) 23:09, 21 December 2023 (UTC)
Halloween 2025 main page revert[edit]
Regarding the revert that you did on this page, I don't quite see an issue with the edit I did, because it was based on 2 things:
- 1. I added the mask skin to the Gem Store section, since its aesthetic and theme both fit Halloween. This was also mentioned in the official Gem Store blog post, which you can see by just glancing at its title. That being said, the Fuzzy Bee Skimmer Skin was not included on the list (even though it was introduced last week, which is within the festival date too), as the skin has a different theme, and is more related to Janthir and its lore, which was also confirmed in the official Gem Store blog post.
- 2. Edits that were made almost 10 years ago did include Gem Store items that were released after the initial patch, but within the predefined festival date. One of the examples is 2015 page, where items like Lunatic Guard Outfit and Mad King Dye Kit were introduced a week later after the patch dropped, yet they still got listed. Given that those lists stayed as they were for all of this time and the items didn't get removed, it means that there were no issues with those edits. That being said, it shows that festival release pages were not always treated the same way as other (i.e., major quarterly release) pages.
I did have the same approach both to this year's page and all the previous Halloween releases that I was editing for the past month.ฅ𓂃𓏧♡ vyѕɴɑιтε ᨐᵉᵒʷฅ (тɑʟκ) 20:12, 23 October 2025 (UTC)
- 2 is not necessarily true, my edit was based on my observation that a lot of the other festival pages only include gem store items that were released on the day of the festival. If you're planning to go back and change those pages to include all "related" items within the festival duration, that's something different (but I think that should be discussed with other editors). --ItVictor (talk) 00:54, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- The thing in question is the revert you did, not the plans that I have for the upcoming edits. I only mentioned it here because it is relevant to the topic, as I used the same approach and logic for the other Halloween pages I was going through. In fact, that is something that is already said and done, which is why I wrote: "...that I was editing for the past month", and till now no one seemed to have an issue with those edits, even though a few weeks have already passed since the last one I did.
- That being said, I find it weird that you said it is "not necessarily true", when I literally linked you one of the multiple examples that was there for almost a decade :D As well as, I'm not sure how big your "observation" was, but this tendency can be found on the other festival pages too, so it wasn't only the Halloween releases that had this type of documentation. But if you want more examples, sure:
- Halloween 2017 was listing Mini Elonian Familiar
- SAB 2016 is listing Super Adventure Glider
- SAB 2017 is listing Super Holo-Copter Glider Combo
- LNY 2018 is listing Imperial Guard Outfit, Mini Lucky Lantern Puppy
- Just like the previous example, these pages also list items and skins that got released after the initial patch day and start of the festival, which can be checked in the edit history and official Gem Store blog posts.

- So once again, my edits were also based on something that has been on the wiki for years or even a decade, and as you can see, it still can be found there to this day. I would assume that if it is considered wrong and something that shouldn't be on those pages, they would have been edited and removed long time ago. But instead, the pages in question were revisited and edited multiple times since, yet the Gem Store sections were kept as they are, and from my perspective, it makes sense why. I get it that there is inconsistency throughout multiple festival pages themselves, but I don't see why the Gem Store items and skins "cannot" be listed in these cases, if both points explained above are considered and applied. ฅ𓂃𓏧♡ vyѕɴɑιтε ᨐᵉᵒʷฅ (тɑʟκ) 09:42, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
- I looked at 4-5 different festival pages, all of them only listed the (one) gem store item. I don't have time to check every festival page but I think it's reasonable to assert that the majority of festival pages are set up this way, hence my revert. I was not even aware there were other examples that there were multiple gem store items listed. Either way the fact remains that there is an an inconsistency where some pages have the extra gem store items listed and others do not, which I said earlier should probably be consulted with other editors. --ItVictor (talk) 10:59, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
