- Acquisition through the Black Lion Chest was only accessible between the release of the Living World Season 3 episode A Crack in the Ice and Wintersday 2016, until the addition of Black Lion Exclusives Chest in August 2017.
- It is possible for a player to portal other players up to this location, unlike other Black Lion gizmos. Similarly it is possible to reach the ledge by using some mounts such as a springer, griffon, and skyscale.
