Bomb Kit

Engineering Kit. Equip a kit that replaces your weapon with bomb skills.

Bomb Kit replaces the engineer's standard weapon skills with five different skills. Each bomb explodes shortly after being placed at the feet of the engineer.

1 Bomb.png Bomb 0.5½ Set an explosive that damages nearby foes.
2 Fire Bomb.png Fire Bomb 0.5½ 8 Set an explosive that burns nearby foes.
3 Galvanic Bomb.png Galvanic Bomb 0.5½ 16 Set an explosive that electrocutes nearby foes, dazing them.
4 Magnetic Bomb.png Magnetic Bomb 0.5½ 20 Set a timed charge that pulls nearby foes.
5 Big Ol' Bomb.png Big Ol' Bomb 0.5½ 20 Set a timed charge with a big blast that knocks down nearby foes. This skill blast finishes twice.

August 08, 2017 Path of Fire pre-patch:
  • Weapon Kits and Device Kits are now referred to as Engineering kits to reflect that their classifications are functionally the same.
June 23, 2015 Specialization update:
  • All kit backpacks were removed and replaced with a weapon that your character holds to distinguish the kit you are currently using.
December 14, 2012
  • Engineer kits now inherit the bonuses from currently equipped weapon sigils.
November 15, 2012
  • Bomb Kit / Med Kit / Tool Kit / Elixir Gun: These skills can now be equipped in the air.
  • All kits can be stowed in the air now.
September 14, 2012
  • Disabled the "stowing" auto-attack to prevent players from getting stuck holding these kits: Bomb Kit, Elixir Gun, Flamethrower, Grenade Kit, Med Kit, and Tool Kit.
