Acquisition[edit]
- During the story step "Catch a fish for Aurene." in Outreach, if no bait is equipped.
- Interacting with Rental Fishing Gear in Lowland Shore or Shipwreck Strand, if no bait is equipped.
- Replenished by fishing in Rare Fish (replaces drop) or Open Water (in addition to drop) while affected by
Rental Fishing Equipment Timer.
- Replenished by fishing in Rare Fish (replaces drop) or Open Water (in addition to drop) while affected by
Notes[edit]
- Automatically equipped when acquired.
- Any already in your inventory will also be equipped, effectively increasing the stack's size by 1.
- The temporary Rental Fishing Gear during
Lowland Shore Fishing Tournament (80) will not give another if you already have one in your inventory. - Multiple can be acquired from the static Rental Fishing Gear in Tideland Outlet by repeatedly interacting, stowing the fishing rod, and unequipping the bait.
