Rental Fishing Gears are containers that equip a fishing rod upon interaction. If the player has no bait or lure equipped, they will also receive Borrowed Bait and a Borrowed Fishing Lure respectively.

Notes

Bug:

Interacting with the event rental gear with no bait or lure equipped, but both Borrowed Bait and Borrowed Fishing Lure in your inventory, will equip a fishing rod that cannot be manually unequipped. Mounting or going underwater will still remove the fishing rod.

• No Borrowed Fishing Lure is given if the player already has one in their inventory.
  • The event rental gear also will not give Borrowed Bait if the player has any in their inventory.
•  Rental Fishing Equipment Timer is applied if bait or a lure was given.
• The static rental gear always applies one stack of  Borrowed Rod.
