Castaway Carol can be found lounging on a pile of gold on one of the upper levels of Hullgarden village. She is the former owner of the bar that becomes Pub Canach.

- You're not a face I've seen around these parts! Tell me, have you come to gaze upon my treasure? Or do you threaten to take it?
Just gazing. It's a lot of gold for one pile. How'd you get it in a place like this?
- Some newcomer offered it to me in exhange [sic] for my drab old bar. He was quite thorny, but he offered me more gold than I've ever seen in my life. Who was I to refuse?
