Hullgarden is an area in Shipwreck Strand—named after the coastal village inhabited by the castaways known as Hullgardeners—and is surrounded by numerous shipwrecks scattered along the shores of Castora.

- Castaway Hellensdottir: Don't know what these other skimmers are like, but the wavehawks are our best allies on the island.
- Castaway Hellensdottir: Not strong enough to carry us through the storms to leave, but good for skimmin' the dunes for wreckage. Any help'll do.
- Astral Ward Protector Eimhir: I'm surprised that such a delicate creature can carry the weight of a norn. Or even a charr!
- Castaway Hellensdottir: Nothin' delicate about 'em, and they got a real nasty bite. Venom strong enough to kill a fella, if you don't drain it in time.

- Castaway Tedd: Never been this many newcomers at once, even in my grandparents' time. Wasn't you the last to arrive, before them asura?
- Castaway Andie: Yeah. (sighs) Been a while. Lost track how long. Handful of years, I s'pose. Feels like a lifetime.
- Castaway Andie: Part of me wonders what's been goin' on back home. Bigger part doesn't really wanna know.
- Castaway Veronica: Least these alliance folks are offerin' help. Heard when them asura showed up, they were offerin' gold and golems.
- Castaway Sunmane: Golems? Them clunky, brainless monsters? What do they feed them things?
- Castaway Veronica: Hmm. Dunno. Maybe that's what the gold's for?

- Castaway Ryan: I don't know how they're surviving out there, let alone what they're actually trying to do.
- Castaway Kassi: Research? Treasure hunting? Whatever it is, must have a lot of firepower to do it without being torn apart.

- Astral Ward Mage Firestripe: Brilliant woodwork. And all of your materials were salvaged from wrecks?
- Craftsperson Kriss: Aye. Most of the scrap we find is unusable; just flayed bits of wood and a bent metal. We try to turn those into tools.
- Craftsperson Kriss: But sometimes we'll get something good. Every so often a ship'll be cut clean in half.
- Craftsperson Kriss: A while back, a big ol' hull washed up on one of the dunes nearby. Too big to haul back here, but might be worth somethin'.
