Trivia[edit]
- In ancient Greek literature, an Eidolon was a spiritual and phantom manifestation of a living or dead person.
- An Eidolon played a part in the Guild Wars Prophecies storyline, as a squid-like ghost creature with a special protective essence, which the ancient race of Seers used to shield against the mursaat's devastating magic.
- The Eidolon were hunted "to near extinction" during the war between seer and mursaat after the previous Dragonrise.[1]
