Medium Obscured Chests can be found throughout Castora. These chests spawn after solving a magic mirror mini-game. They require 6  Ethereal Key Charges to open, or 4 with  Efficient Magic.

  • Each drop also has a chance to be upgraded to Rare Essence of Luck

• Piece of Unidentified Gear (1-2) (guaranteed) (or better) (drops separately)
  • Each drop also has a chance to be upgraded to 2-3.
• High chance for an additional Piece of Rare Unidentified Gear (1)
• Additionally with  Obscured Riches mastery:
  • Chromatic Sap (2) (guaranteed) (from chests in Shipwreck Strand)
  • Raw Enchanting Stone (2) (guaranteed) (from chests in Starlit Weald)
  • Unusual Coin (4-6) (guaranteed)
  • Chance to roll again on the gear drops above, doubling its contents (aside from currencies).
• Any gear drop also has a chance to be upgraded to a Chromatic Resin Box
• Chance of the following:
  • Restless Captain Token: Helmet (from chests in Shipwreck Strand)
  • Extremis Token: Helmet (from chests in Starlit Weald)
  • Forge Guard's Token: Shoulders (from chests in Eternity's Garden)
  • Expanded Power Source

Notes

• Trying to open the chest with fewer charges of  Ethereal Key Charge than required will show a message of You need X ethereal key charges to open this.

Bug:

The message incorrectly says 9 charges are required without the  Efficient Magic mastery trained, and 6 charges with it trained, rather than the correct amounts of 6 and 4 respectively.
