Overseer is a title used by different groups.

Astral Ward

Overseer is a rank in the Astral Ward. The only known individual with this rank is tasked with looking after the Mists Vault.

Overseer is a high-ranking title in the Inquest below director used by e.g. Overseer Kuda. It is said that Inquest leadership consists of multiple directors and overseers.

The title is also used for Holo-Bridge Overseers, non-Inquest asuran engineers in charge of maintaining holo-bridges between the different areas of Dragonfall.

Mursaat

Overseer was a high-ranking mursaat title used by Atticus who resided in Bava Nisos and chronicled the deeds of various mursaat living there.

The title is also used for the Mursaat Overseer, a construct modeled after the former mursaat owners of the Bastion of the Penitent which monitors the Recreation Sector.

Sylvari

Some Mordrem Guard such as Overseer Rannik use the overseer rank while leading Mordrem Guard patrols across the Heart of Maguuma.

The title is also used for Overseer Braeden who is working for the Vigil in charge of defenses in Dragon's Stand.
