Slay the rare creature is a level 80 group event that occurs in Prospect Valley during the hourly Sandstorm! meta event in Dry Top, once every 5 hours in a rotation with 4 other rare creature events. The event appears 5 minutes after the sandstorm begins (ie. 45 after the hour) and Dune Soarer must be killed within 15 minutes or it will escape when the sandstorm subsides.

Notes

• The Dune Soarer does not always spawn in the exact location indicated on the map. Other locations include on top of the rock plateau southeast of the indicated location, which can be reached with Aspect crystals, skills/mounts with a high leap, or gliding from the higher ledges nearby.
