Current release: “Dragon Bash”
It's time for Dragon Bash! It wouldn't be a proper celebration without your attendance. Join me in Hoelbrak for another moot for the ages! There will be tests of strength, racing, food, song, and most importantly—ale. Join the celebration in Hoelbrak! Celebrate Tyria's resistance against the Elder Dragons while engaging in a variety of festive games.
A new Icebone weapon set is now available, reprised from the classic Dragonbone weapons! You'll receive your choice of a weapon by progressing the (Annual) Dragon Bash Feats meta-achievement, and you can acquire additional weapons from the (Weekly) Dragon Bash Festivities achievement. Last year's Sacred Raven weapons are now available from the weekly Dragon Bash Merchant.
To celebrate the upcoming Summer Game Fest, enjoy a rewards boost! Experience gain, magic find, and competitive reward track progress will be enhanced during the fest. Plus, by completing events across Tyria, you'll be able to earn a new Guild Warrior Shoulder Skin and Guild Warrior Cape Skin!
To maximize the festive atmosphere, the summer fun lasts three weeks, from June 2 until June 21 at noon Pacific Time (UTC-7)!

Current release: “The Only Way”
The launch story for Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity had players investigating a series of secretive Inquest voyages to the fabled island of Castora, a mysterious area rich with ley magic. Ancient secrets were unearthed. The island’s guardians were overcome. And the story now picks up with the Commander tasked with stopping Vloxx, the newly-elevated Inquest leader who thinks his machinations are for the good of Tyria. The next five chapters of the story in this update bring the Commander to the new map of Eternity's Garden.
To accompany the story, this release also brings new and updated features. Two new mastery tiers add new account-wide horizontal progression for players. Six new earnable expansion relics bring new combat-augmenting effects to character builds. New legendary accessories, one earned through PvE content and one from World vs. World multiplayer, are available for acquisition. And more elements of players' look can now be managed through the Fashion Template feature released in February 2026. A refreshed set of Wizard's Vault objectives, an earnable raptor mount skin, as well as a host of other rewards associated with the new map and content, round out the release.
