The Laboratory is an area in the southeast of Mistburned Barrens. Once used by the mursaat Manikaz for his experiments, the area is now overrun with hostile bloodstone elementals.

- Mursaat Ghost: What happened to the laboratory...?
- Mursaat Ghost: Ah. So they came.
- Mursaat Ghost: I'm almost glad. Those last days were...worse. When our sacrificial flesh was depleted, they turned on the rest of us.
- Mursaat Ghost: Manikaz cast his own people onto the bloodstone. And it didn't help.
- Mursaat Ghost: All it did was clot the blood. And the titans ripped the rest of us apart.
