The Machine is an central object of a larger machine which was made by the Inquest and sold to the Hammerhart Twins Captain Jessica Hammerhart and First Mate Jimmy Hammerhart who intend to use the device to blow up the Hullgardeners. However, if the Hammerharts are not stopped during the meta event, they ultimately fail in this goal and instead overload the machine.
