Bill of Sale: "The Machine" is a book found in the freebooters territory cavern under the Twisting Hollows.

We, the Inquest (seller), hereby transfer ownership of one (1) Electro—Field Wide—Area Shock Transference Battery, hereinafter referred to as "The Machine," to Jessica and Jimmy Hammerhart (purchaser) of Twisting Hollows, Shipwreck Strand, Castora. By signing this contract, purchaser agrees to the following conditions:
—Purchaser acknowledges that the Machine must be set to the exacting specifications detailed in the included manual* for proper operation.
—At buyer's request, the Machine was modified for use by only 2 operators.
—Operators must be positively or negatively charged depending on their locations.
—Teleporters were also included in the purchase price, to accommodate the lack of a full krewe.
—Purchaser has released seller from any liability for aforementioned modifications, as well as purchaser's disinterest in safety warnings, power scale and range limits, optimal operating parameters, negative effects of humidity, temperature, elevation, &c &c.
In return, purchaser has provided access to Twisting Hollows cavern system, a company of experienced freebooters, an undisclosed sum of gold, and agreed to "Blow some Hullgardeners apart. BOOM!"
