- ^ (Annual) Choya Carnival: The
Spiked Choya Psionic Tonic can only be used on land and while not being transformed by the other effect including the transformation skills such as Necromancer's Shroud.
- The following is the list of the fractals in which players cannot use the tonic:
- Aquatic Ruins Fractal — Underwater
- Thaumanova Reactor Fractal — Asura transformation effect
- Twilight Oasis Fractal — Awakened transformation effect
- Urban Battleground Fractal — Charr transformation effect
- Kinfall Fractal — Bearkin transformation effect
- The following is the list of the fractals in which players cannot use the tonic:
- ^ (Annual) Cozy Café: Renamed from "Café Coordination" with the March 17, 2026 update.
- ^ (Annual) Dog Days: After consuming a
Fool's Dog Treat, remain in the /sleepor/sitemote for 3 minutes in
Lion's Court — where the dogs and rugs are.
- ^ (Annual) In a Cat's Eye: Pet any one of the Extra Life animals which are only visible under the effects of the
Chatoyant Lens, 
Chatoyant Elixir or 
Chatoyant Infusion.
- ^ (Annual) Seats of Power: Chairs in your homestead count despite you owning them and it not being located in Central Tyria.
