Elka

Elka was the mursaat mother of Miri and had participated in the failed mursaat-Forgotten assault on the Elder Dragon Zhaitan during the previous dragonrise. She had been a close friend of the Forgotten Goss Aleessh whose hand she had held prior to the first mursaat city Apavim's destruction in the seer-mursaat war. Elka had held no closer friend in the years after Goss's parting, not even her husband.
