Apavim, the First Citadel, was the mursaat's first home on Tyria after their exile from Nayos.[1] After studying under some of the seers' finest crafters, the mursaat built Apavim with some guidance and support of the seers; the city's architecture was inspired by the seer city of Stellis Quor.[2][3] The mursaat and the Forgotten had friendly relations in the city.[4] The seers obliterated the First Citadel in a siege towards the beginning of the seer-mursaat war, and the mursaat would eventually found Bava Nisos as Apavim's successor on one of the northern isles of Janthir millennia later once the war had ended in the mursaat's favor.[5]
