Lowland Expertise is an effect obtained by purchasing the Lowland Kodan Expertise service from renown heart NPCs in Janthir after completing their heart.

Mechanics

Stacking

• Each purchase of Lowland Kodan Expertise gives one stack and adds 4 hours to its timer, up to the maximum of 7 stacks and a 24 hour duration.
• The effect duration does not decrease while logged out, making it easy to build up and maintain the stacks over several days.

Additional rewards

• The material gained by having 4 stacks depends on the zone the cache is opened in:
  • Hearth's Glow Homestead: None.
  • Lowland Shore: Honey Flower or Lowland Pine Log.
  • Janthir Syntri: Charged Titan Ore or Rotted Titan Amber.
  • Mount Balrior: None.
  • Mistburned Barrens: Mursaat Obsidian Chunk or Titan Heatstone.
  • Bava Nisos: None.
• Having 6 stacks will give an additional Ancient Coin (1) for all caches except for the Mythical, which gains Ancient Coin (2).
• Because the effect only grants bonuses while in Janthir, opening a cache container anywhere else will not provide additional materials or coins.
• The source map of containers does not matter, only the current location upon opening.

Bug:

Opening a container in Bava Nisos does not give additional map materials, despite having the same resource nodes as Mistburned Barrens: Mursaat Obsidian and Titan Heatstone Clusters.
