Mi-Sung, codename Rose Viper, is a Purist operative sent to Castora so the organization could benefit from the Tyrian Alliance's discoveries there. She used contacts in both the Freebooters and the Inquest to further the Purists' cause and was not above betraying her allies once they had outlived their usefulness such a torturing Inquest Webbi for information and killing Webbi's friend and supervisor Zenna for failing to give her what she wanted.
The Pact Commander investigated Rose Viper's bloody trail at the request of Kestrel Choole, leading the Commander to a harrowing encounter in the Deepwood where Mi-Sung managed to gain the upper hand by trapping the Commander while gloating that she intended to make the most out of the stir the Commander had caused among the Purists. Before Mi-Sung could enact her revenge on the Commander for defeating White Falcon, Choole arrived to aid the Commander so they could take the Purist operative down and apprehend her.
