The gloves recovered by the wayfinder are a fascinating discovery. They are almost corroded to the point of destruction by the fractal environment, but they appear to have only reached that state after surviving the creation and collapse of countless fractal environments. For an item to endure even a single iteration of collapse would be remarkable.
The current fractal incursion operation presents a related opportunity. The wayfinder has discovered fractalline dust produced when closing fractals, and our analysis confirms that introducing it to the gloves with controlled spells can reverse their corrosion.
Vivienne would prefer to inter the gloves immediately, but I advocate instead for continuing to repair them. Although we are not in the habit of assigning equipment according to the "finders- keepers" principle, the wayfinder's history of responsible and effective relic handling suggests that they can best put them to use.
P.S. For lack of an identified creator to supply a name, Frode has dubbed the relic the Mists-Grasper, which we'll use going forward.
