Research Notes are a currency that also can be used as a crafting material, earned by salvaging crafted items with a Research Kit, or by toggling the option to automatically research crafted items in the crafting interface. They are automatically stored in the wallet upon acquisition.

Using a Research Kit to salvage any item with the Research salvage type (shown as "Salvage: Research"). The amount of research notes depends on the level and rarity of the items. Salvage research can be found here, or see the external links for an overview of the most efficient items to craft.
Note: Stat changed items can no longer be salvaged for research notes.
Crafting[edit]
- Toggle the option to automatically salvage the crafted item. Despite the wording, this does not require a research kit.
