Masterwork Rift Essence is a masterwork rift essence currency obtained by participating in Rift Hunting and Convergences.
Acquisition[edit]
- Completing Kryptis rifts during Rift Hunting on tier 2. Receive 3-64 for completing the boss event depending on mastery and motivation use. See Rift essence for detailed numbers.

- Rift essences were originally crafting materials that were stored in the material storage before they were turned into wallet currencies as part of the June 3, 2025 update. Any vendors and recipes that previously required the material version of rift essence have been updated to use the wallet currency version instead.
- This item was named "Essence of Greed" before the release of Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds.
