The correct title of this article is /Resign. The substitution or omission of the / is because of technical restrictions.
/Resign is a chat command used in instanced group content to cause your character to immediately die.
Aliases[edit]
It is best known as /gg[1], abbreviated from "good game", a common phrase used as a virtual handshake at the end of a match or instance.
It can also be invoked through other commands:
/ff— abbreviated from forfeit/qq— multiple meanings related to quitting, crying (QQ), "quit crying", a snide remark used in multiplayer games- Various localized commands:

Mechanics[edit]
- The command will immediately kill the player's character.
- The chosen finisher is shown.
- Skill recharges are reset.
- There is a hidden 5 second cooldown.
Usage[edit]
- It allows groups to concede faster, instead of waiting for the enemy to slowly finish off each player.
- It can be used to quickly reach forward checkpoints unlocked by party members when lagging behind.
- Players will often exclaim "./gg" upon reaching a checkpoint, to tell party members they can get teleported.

- Using the command in invalid locations will show the message Usable only in raids or fractals.
